ABOUT US

Podere il Saliceto was founded in 2004 from the desire of Gian Paolo and Marcello, who after study and diverse work experience in the sector decide to start this project.

We are in the plain of Modena on the banks of the Secchia river, in the traditionally Lambrusco’s. area.

The two different varieties of Lambrusco Who are grown are Lambrusco di Sorbara an Lambrusco Salamino. We also valorize minor autochthonous varieties such as Trebbiano Modenese and Malbo Gentile in order to sustain a territory in its typicity.
Artisanal management allows us to control personally all the production steps from pruning to green and the harvest which is done exclusively by hand into small containers, preserving the integrity of the grapes.
